About Diamondhead Community Church
Our Church
Diamondhead Community Church began as a group of believers in Jesus, representing a wide variety of denominational backgrounds, who came together to establish a church and become an Ohana (family) in the newly formed community of Diamondhead over 40 years ago.
We continue to incorporate different streams from Christian traditions in our worship services. We believe in the Bible, preach the gospel, worship God authentically, and welcome all to experience Christ’s love and transforming power.
In 2020, we affiliated with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Our Beliefs
We believe that the Bible, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the supreme and final authority on all matters it addresses. Based on this solid foundation, we affirm the following beliefs:
• We believe in one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• Jesus Christ, the living Word, became flesh through His conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. According to Scripture, He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. On the third day, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now serves as our High Priest and Mediator.
• The Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply His saving work to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. Indwelling in our hearts, He gives us a new life, empowers us, and bestows gifts upon us for service. He instructs and guides us into all truth and seals us for the day of redemption.
• Being estranged from God and condemned by our sinfulness, our salvation is entirely dependent on the work of God’s free grace. God credits His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, thereby justifying them in His sight.
• The true Church is composed of all persons who are united together in the body of Christ through saving faith in Jesus and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
• Jesus Christ will return to earth—personally, visibly, and bodily—to judge the living and the dead and to fulfill the eternal plan of God.
