Elders & Deacons

What do church officers do?

The Session, composed of Active Elected Ruling and Teaching Elders, is the governing body of the congregation. The Session is responsible for spiritual and administrative leadership and oversight.

The Diaconate, composed of Deacons, leads the church in service ministries (the word “deacon” means servant).
