What a joy it was to worship with you this past Sunday! I also want to share that my family and I arrived safely in Diamondhead. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and warm welcome. We are grateful to be here and are excited to see what God has in store for our church family.

​

This past Sunday, Josh Lindsey reminded us that there is much more in his head than just "rocks!" Using the image of rocks, he pointed us to the biblical idea of Ebenezers—memorials that God's people established to remember His faithfulness.

​

Throughout Scripture, God's people intentionally marked the moments when He showed His power, provision, and grace so that future generations would remember who He is and place their hope in Him.

​

Those reminders are not just for Israel's story; they are for ours as well.

Each of us has moments where God has met us, sustained us, rescued us, and grown us. Those stories become testimonies of His faithfulness.

​

One phrase that has stayed with me this week is this: We become what we celebrate. If we continually celebrate God's faithfulness, we cultivate hearts of gratitude, hope, and expectancy. At DHCC, I want us to be a church that is constantly celebrating what God is doing—in our lives, in our families, and throughout our community.

​

As we begin this new season together, my prayer is that God would use our church so that every man, woman, and child in our community has repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. May we become a people who not only remember God's faithfulness in the past but also joyfully participate in what He is doing today.
