Touchpoint July 29, 2026

Dear DCC,

This Sunday we began a brand-new series called BLESS by asking a simple but life-changing question:

What if God had a mission for you every day where you live, work, and play?

Most of us wake up thinking about our schedule and everything we need to accomplish. But Scripture reminds us that God is already at work in the ordinary places of our lives—our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, coffee shops, and even the grocery store. We don't have to search for a mission field because God has already placed us in one.

Beginning in Genesis 12, we saw that God blessed Abraham so that he would become a blessing to others. That mission ultimately finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, who became the greatest blessing by taking the curse of our sin upon Himself and inviting us to join Him in His mission of making disciples.

As followers of Jesus, we are blessed so that we might become a blessing.

This week I challenged everyone to identify five people God has already placed in your life who need to experience the love of Christ. Over the next five weeks, let's pray for these five people every day.

Ask the Lord one simple question:

"Lord, how would You bless them through me today?"

Remember, before we ever speak to people about God, we first speak to God about people.

I encourage you to keep your list somewhere you'll see it each morning and begin praying faithfully. I'm excited to see how God works as our church joins Him on His mission to give every man, woman, and child a repeated opportunity to see, hear, and respond to the gospel of Jesus in Diamondhead, Hancock County, and the Gulf Coast.

I'm looking forward to worshiping with you again this Sunday as we continue our BLESS series and learn the second practice together.

Cheering for you all!
Nathan
